The Reformed Ancestral Order

It's been in the working a long time, I present to you my first draft of what will be the new Ancestral order. Essentially our -first- proper priesthood. It will detail how each class can be involved, what is involved and how you can -get- involved.

The Reformed Ancestral Order

Since the revival of the Kingdom of Stromgarde from Galen's shattered control the ancestral faith has been a long dead entity that has been revived by the people and is slowly gaining momentum again as a great religion. Over the years tomes, stories, myths, weapons, artifacts and remnants of the ancestors were found, heard and seen. They have brought together a magnificent array of great treasures to help teach the people of the Highlands of their long lost champions. For the first time it is proposed that the faith is not just passed amongst the people through preaching but that a proper order akin to the light's Silver Hand be erected. The Reformed Ancestral Order will be the first modern Holy Order to train all of its members in the ways of the ancestral faith.

What can each class attain?

*Each of these classes have no conflicts and when they complete their trials will be:
Hunter - Spirit Tracker
Mage - Lumomancer
Paladin - Ancestral Guardian
Priest - Ancestral Priest
Rogue - Void Dancer
Warrior - Ancestral Guardian

**Druids can only be Worgen who believe in the Ancestral Faith.

What are each of them?

Ancestral Guardian: An ancestral guardian can be compared easily to 'paladins' of the light in our faith. They will use the ancestor's lessons and influence to defend and carry out the will of the faithful.

Ancestral Priest: An ancestral priest is tasked with spreading the faith, to learn to wield the power of the ancestors with mercy and with kindness. To make sure that any who fear the dark or shun the light are enlightened to the balance of the world.

Lumomancer: Mages have the ability to bend the arcane to their will however through the ancestral faith they will attempt to use it to further the research into Stromgardian magic and use it to help evolve and develop the faith's knowledge base.

Spirit Tracker: A spirit tracker works very much in the way of a 'spiritual bounty hunter'. Spirits are not always content with the land of the dead, they will attempt to break through the veil and re enter the world and this doesn't always end well. The Spirit Trackers when they have learnt the ways of communing with the ancestors will find these 'rogue' spirits and send them back.

Void Dancer: A void dancer will learn to literally fade into the void, this is a very dangerous vocation but the ancestral faith will be strengthened through their work. They will enter the void and attempt to destroy the many Phelgian demons and spirits that are attempting to break through the rift.

The Order

The order breaks down into four 'rings'.

Voice of the Ancestors: A symbolic title meaning that the holder speaks for the faith and attempts to make sure that no one dissents or flees the faith for the 'comfort' of the evil phelgas.

The Enlightened: The 'Enlightened' are the highest and most faithful of the order and make up the main religious leadership. They oversee the completion of rites, the teaching of the faith, the guidance of the students.

The Faithful: The Faithful are those who have completed their unique class tasks and joined the order properly as great spiritual forces.

The Disciples: The disciples are those who openly seek to enlighten themselves and become members of the Order of the Faithful and to put their efforts to the faith.
